To provide excellent customer service to callers, both internal and external, in a polite, helpful and professional manner. To be expert in department services including telephone triage support services, physician answering service.
Must be a high school graduate; one to two years of college or advanced medical secretarial training is preferred.
Call Center or telephone handling experience preferred.
Must have word processing experience, preferably MS Word and Excel. Must type a minimum of 25 words per minute, Windows competency is required.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills using correct English grammar. Bi-lingual preferred.
Must have proven excellent customer service skills.
