Head of the Class is a full service tutoring and learning support centre. We are excited to be expanding our tutoring to include small group classes teaching mindfulness to kids. Mindfulness is the skill and practice of focused attention to the present moment with kindness and curiosity. It is a learned skill set that has been proven by research to flourish: peaceful resilient proactive kids who increase their problem solving skills and manage stress and anxiety. The research also shows it can increase the functioning of the prefrontal cortex and executive functioning skills. This summer we are offering the below courses: Mindfulness for Anxiety Monday 3:00pm Mindfulness for Kids Beginners Tuesday 1:30pm and Thursday 5:00pm Mindfulness for Kids Intermediate Wednesday 7:00pm Mindfulness for Kids (4 - 6yrs) Thursday 1:30pm ALL CLASSES BEGIN JULY 10 For more information: link
